10 Questions to Start the Year Retired educator Cheryl Kid advises educators to start each day of the first week of school by calling on students to answer a random question to elicit something about their life. Kids are surprised by, but love the direct nature of some of these questions and often want to add their own response. Use some of these questions or invent your own. We will be holding a General Membership Meeting on August  16th @ 4:45 PM in the Plainfield Central High School main cafeteria. Please plan on attending if you have time. 

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year. As you may know, negotiations for the PASS contract will be coming up later this year. In preparation for this, the PASS Executive Board would like to have as many people as possible attend a category meeting to find out the concerns of our members. Please see below for the dates for each category. If you are unable to attend your category meeting, either share your concerns with another category member attending or email any of the board members with your concerns. Please do not attend another category meeting.

Guidelines for Category Meetings –

Saturday, August 18th – Custodians (O, P, T)

Monday, August 20^th – Secretary, Clerk, Bookkeepers (A, B, C, D, K)

Wednesday, August 22^nd – Nurses (E, F) 

Monday August 27^th – Paraprofessionals (G, H, I)

Wednesday, August 29^th – Lunchroom Supervisors (J)

Wednesday, September 5^th – Monitors (L)

Thursday, September 6^th – Maintenance/Grounds (M, N, Q, R)

Courier (can go to any of the meetings)

All will be at Central High School @4:45 pm, except Custodians who will meet at 9:00 am. The meetings will be held in the main cafeteria. There will be a strict 1 ½ hour time frame.
