Bargaining Update November 13

The PASS Brgaining Team met today from 9 am to 4 pm.

We were able to TA 7.2 a Bereavement Leave.

Proposals were exchanged on : 6.2 Salary, 6.5 Insurance, and 5.10 Retirement.

Salary: Our last proposal for salary was 3.5% over the next 2 years. The Boarsd Proposal was 2.5% increase over 1 year period and reopen the salary June 30, 2016.

Insurancse remained the same.

Retirement: Proposed small changes from the last proposal we exchanged.

Future bargaining dates have yet to be determined.

Wear Black on Friday

Just a reminder to wear black on Friday to show unity and support. Watch for contract negotiation updates. Remind members to sign up on the web site to receive all the important information. They must use a personal email address.

Thanks to all of the PASS members attending the rally and the Board meeting last night. Those members that spoke during the open session did a great job speaking for the entire membership. This is what unionism is about. People helping people.

We do need to see other categories being represented at the rally’s and the Board meetings. This is how Administration will realize we are united and will stand strong. Please consider joining us as we continue to show not only Administration but also the Public our value to public schools.

We bargain again on Friday. Remember to were black to show support. We will continue to bargain until we reach a Fair agreement.
