Thank you all for coming out to the Meet and Greet on Saturday. The executive board appreciates you taking time out of your day to come meet them and hear the speakers give their presentations. A special thanks to both the IMRF rep and NEA rep for taking time to come talk to us all. We would also like to thank Jennifer Bertino-Terrant for stopping by to speak to us. We hope you all enjoyed the day!

Don’t forget that today is the meet and greet meeting/picnic  at the Village Green park just to the south of downtown Plainfield. We will have a brief membership update on things plus you’ll get to meet the new officers. Also on hand will be Paul Parise from IMRF to answer questions you have about that. Hope to see you there!

We are seeking anyone interested in serving on a nominating/election committee. We will  be looking for 3-5 members to be on this committee. If you are interested please email one of us.

The committee will be responsible for putting together packets for elections/votes on issues, etc. and counting/verification of ballots.

We are still waiting for the district to get us the draft copies of the contract so that they can be distributed to you all by your building reps prior to holding a question and answer meeting with you. We will then be holding a ratification vote the following week. More info to come as it’s available.
