We have another upcoming event that is a repeat of a member favorite from a couple years ago. It’s a new version of the political bingo night that was held at the American Legion on Renwick Road. It’s now called Jambalaya & Jim Reed Nite and will be held at Moe Joe’s in downtown Plainfield this year. See the flyer below for particulars. This was a popular event when we hosted it before. We have received the following information about the upcoming IEA candidate Q&A forum for all members who are interested in the upcoming elections.
Good evening,
I am emailing you to invite you and your region members to the January meeting of DuPACE, which will focus on the upcoming primaries and ways that IEA members can get involved. We will be having Casey Anthony, IEA organizer and IEA Member Erica Bray-Parker speak about the IL 6th Congressional District race (Rep. Roskam’s seat). We will additionally talk about other primaries in the area, including IL14 (Rep. Hultgren’s seat) and engage in a postcard campaign for strong public schools.
I have attached a flyer about the meeting. Please share with members/locals that you feel would be interested in the information. The flyer does state that members in DuPage and Cook County are invited, but we welcome any IEA member that would like to come! The more, the merrier! There is a link on the flyer to RSVP so that we have enough materials. Members can use that link or RSVP to my email (rebecca.gamboa@ieagpa.org).
