DISTRICT 202 TENTATIVE RETURN SCHEDULE FOR IN-PERSON LEARNING
PLEASE NOTE: ALL PLAN DETAILS — INCLUDING RETURN DATES — ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON HEALTH CONDITIONS AND OPERATIONAL LOGISTICS
Each student group will return to in-person learning building on the successful, safe return of the preceding group.
Bringing students back in small groups allows us to monitor and adjust our safety protocols, staffing, etc.
In the upcoming weeks, District 202 will survey parents on their intent for their student to return to in-person learning or to continue with remote learning. The Intent to Return Survey will also contain key schedule, health, and safety information.
We will also email you a reminder that the Intent to Return Survey email is coming.
October 26th – PreK-12 multi-needs special education Preschool LEAP and Multi-needs,
FBI, Intensive, Project Class, MAP, Star Plus, SCORE, and PSTEP
November 5th– Prekindergarten and kindergarten
November 16th – PreK-12 English Language Learners and students who receive
instructional special education classes
November 30th – All 1st-3rd grade students
December 7th – All 4th-5th grade students
January 19th – All middle and high school students
District 202 officials will continue to monitor:
1. The positivity rate for our area and Will County
2. Guidance from the Will and Kendall County Health Departments, Illinois Department of
Public Health, Illinois State Board of Education and Centers for Disease Control 3. The availability of cleaning and disinfecting supplies
4. The availability of personal protective equipment (PPE)
5. The number of available substitute teachers to ensure our ability to provide remote learning
