Please take the time to take action to tell our legislators to vote against the Secretary of Education nominee. She is not a friend of public education. It’s a short process to give the NEA permission to contact our senators to let them know how we think. Just click on the highlighted text below to go to the NEA’s action center and fill out the info asked for and submit.

Hi Jo Anne,
I wanted to be sure you saw Mary’s request. Betsy DeVos has no business being the next Secretary of Education – she is completely unqualified, and her pushes to undermine public education through vouchers and for-profit charter schemes show that she should never be entrusted with our nation’s public schools.

NEA members and supporters have already sent their senators more than 90,000 emails demanding that they reject DeVos. Please take 2 minutes today to contact your senators. Help us keep the pressure on.
